Just a quick reminder about our upcoming Princesses Show June 29 & 30 at Strobel’s.
We are having many extra things at this show to help JoJo and Emma raise money in their quest for the Interstate Queen title. Please help us show them the great WHO family hospitality. Some of those special things we can use your help with.
We will be having a men versus women bake sale (a warm up for the Beat Washington sale) so please bring your best desert to be auctioned off.
There will be a silent auction, and if you have anything you would like to donate, it will be greatly appreciated. Also, if you have a folding table you can bring that would come in handy.
There is a pie in the face auction so you will have a chance to show how much you enjoy your fellow riders by treating them to a delicious after dinner whipped cream facial. I will be one of the intended victims and I will be taking other volunteers to enjoy along with me.
We will also be having a $15 spaghetti dinner with salad and bread cooked by Casey Ballstaedt and crew. It would be very helpful if you could please let me know as soon as possible if you will be eating with us so that Casey can plan how much to make so we don’t have a lot of leftovers.
Finally, if you would like to sponsor a belt buckle or place an ad in the program please bring your money and see one of these girls and help support Interstate.
I am looking forward to the WHO riders stepping up and showing Emma and JoJo a welcoming attitude and a great time at this show. As some of you know, taking on this task is not an easy thing to do for these girls, and everything we can do to show support really does make a difference.
Looking forward to seeing you this weekend at Horse Haven and then the Princesses Show. Then we will head south to Twisted Bit for the Junior Show, Back to Strobel’s for the NORA Show, back to Horse Haven for the CCGA Show and finishing off this year’s shows with the Summer Show again at Horse Haven. Then we will start the new points year with the Beat Washington Show at Strobel’s in August. Remember that is the show where you can win money and high point awards. We will also be having a general meeting, bake sale and other fun events at that show.
